In this first Dutch technicolor film, a girl from the rowing club gets pregnant, but the father of the child refuses to marry her. The film is a remake of the German film Acht Mädel im Boot and contains nice shots of the façades, bridges and nightlife of Amsterdam. Featuring songs by Corrie Brokken and music by the Sem Nijveen Combo.
