Short documentary about the commotion accompanying plans to build a motorway through the North Limburg nature reserve Jammerdal (Valley of Tears). The area gets its name from the fact that a man once digging a deep well was buried under sand shouting and screaming. Years later, despite formal protests from environmentalists, a spade was again dug into the ground. Only a single man refused to bow. A documentary about anger, impotence and acceptance.
