Surrealist short drama in which a promising astronomer in Amsterdam in the 1970s is on the eve of a scientific breakthrough. Until he loses his grip on reality.
Amsterdam, 1976. Twenty-six-year-old Iskander is a promising astronomic talent. A few months ago, he moved from Alexandria to Amsterdam to join a team of prominent astronomers studying black holes. But on the eve of a long-anticipated symposium, Iskander loses his grip on reality, in this surrealist story about trauma and loss. While he usually has control of his anxieties and psychoses, his obsession with the research and the tensions around this evening seem to become his deathblow.
