Using an associative collage of archive footage, videogame images and a dash of irony, this experimental documentary expresses the endured experience of displacement.
“Why did you leave your country?” “When the war is over, will you go back?” “How do we cancel this displacement? ”This experimental short film takes the impossible questions put to refugees as a starting point, with an ironic slant. With an unexpected combination of archive footage and videogame images, the filmmaker depicts the absurd reality and consequences of being uprooted. This way, in his graduation film, he takes the viewer along in the confusion, insecurity and loneliness involved in this experience.
