Pierre, a renowned political journalist, is furious when he is told to do an interview with soap star Katja Schuurman, whom he considers a plasticised mummy. When the actress receives the reporter in her canalside house, tension soon mounts. In this black comedy, Katja Schuurman plays with the image the general public has of her: a couple of silicone breasts, coke and booze; the film was even shot in her own house, which raises the question: What is truth and what is fake?
