Tragicomic short film about a majorette who is past thirty, but still participates in competitions. She wants nothing more than to win, so she can finally deliver that thank you speech.
From childhood, Annerieke has had only one dream: winning first prize in a majorette competition. She is past thirty by now, but her wish is still very much alive, that thank you speech still burning in her pocket. When finally the moment seems to have arrived and she takes the stage to give her speech, it does not really go as she had practiced it in front of the mirror all those years. Tragicomic short film emphasises once again you do not have to be the best to enjoy something.
