As a Reformed teenager, Anneloes files charges of sexual abuse within her family, but the accused get off scot-free. How does her environment look back on this 25 years later?
Anneloes grows up as a member of the orthodox Reformed Congregations. At sixteen, she files charges of sexual abuse against her father and brother, but they are acquitted. This permanently marks Anneloes. 25 years later she asks people directly involved – insofar as they dare to talk about it – to look back with her on her crushed life, in this documentary. How does the security of an isolated existence turn into restriction or even power abuse?
