The fear of oblivion can be overwhelming, but it can also be a driving force. This animation explores the need to imprint ourselves and our legacies on the world.
In this graduation film, a human figure drags part of herself across a bare plain, thus leaving behind a lasting trail. Another one inscribes a message on someone else’s back. A third one urinates and leaves behind moisture, which briefly shows footprints. In this characteristic animation, various taciturn characters all put their individual stamps in grey hues on this earth. How will they be remembered?
