Bearing a rucksack and a tent, the young Yara and Philippe hike along distant roads and celebrate life and freedom. Lyricism and realism go hand in hand in this largely improvised road movie. Kissing and making love, serious conversations, unanticipated clashes. Under the summer sun and starry sky, it is clear how deeply in love they are, but also how different. Philippe is a restless seeker, Yara seemingly more modest. A dramatic event unexpectedly puts their relationship to the test.
