After the highly commended De Nieuwe Wildernis, the nature film that showed that De Oostvaardersplassen burst with beauty and spectacle, this is the second instalment of a trilogy of Dutch nature pics for the entire family. Helped by impressive visual techniques, the film zooms in on extraordinary and colourful fauna that after years, sometimes even centuries, has returned to our delta. The white-tailed eagle, the beaver, the hare, the stickleback and the scarce large blue; numerous unique species occupy their place again. A rediscovery of the Netherlands, at a time when the creative forces of nature are fully utilised again.
