Coming-of-age drama in which a student who fell victim to anti-gay violence is forced to move in with his father. Here, the boy struggles with anxious reexperiences and ambivalent memories of a broken relationship.
After 21-year-old Manu has fallen prey to anti-gay violence, he temporarily moves back in with his father Otto. In this coming-of-age drama, a graduation film, Manu is plagued by reexperiences and grows at odds with himself. After all, how can he stay receptive to love if at the same time he is forced to become thick-skinned? Since Otto, being a black man, knows what it is like to be discriminated against, he tries to help his son based on his personal experiences.
