Dramatised documentary which tackles the question of euthanasia in an unusual way. The film shows the well-known columnist for Amsterdam's daily Het Parool visits his mother (81) with his girlfriend Karin. Within 5 minutes the atmosphere can be cut with a knife. Holman's mother talks about her experiences in a concentration camp and also brings up her desire for euthanasia for the umpteenth time. The columnist doesn't want to know and brushes aside her ideas as romantic kitsch by women's magazines.
