In the early morning, a newspaper man is inspired by entrancing music of the Master Musicians of Jajouka from Morocco. He goes on with his work in a surprising way and has a surprise meeting with other early birds. Short documentary made on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the Netherlands Film and Television Academy, inspired by two photographs by Ed van der Elsken en Kees Scherer.
