Feature film debut about the ex-mercenary Louis (Ralph Wingens) who is obsessed with weaponry and marries his former school friend Ada (film debut of Loes Luca). Their honeymoon brings them to Verdun, where in World War I over half a million soldiers perished. Louis cannot get enough of the monuments, fortresses, cemeteries and charnel houses. Ada's honeymoon takes a bizarre turn.
