During carnival celebrations in the Limburg town of Sittard, more than 100,000 Nonnevotten - specially baked carnival bread rolls - are sold. Filmmaker Eugenie Jansen made a documentary about the traditions and rituals during the three-day festivities seen through the eyes of the hard-working family of a Sittard baker. Nonnevotte is part of a series of five documentaries in which young filmmakers provide a challenging cinematographic view of the theme 'life's a party'.
