Three-part series based on the famous animal tales by P.C. Hooft prize-winner Anton Koolhaas. In Het is de schraapzucht, gentlemen it becomes clear that animals also think about the meaning of life. For instance the sheep Ursula wonders whether a meadow exists in her absence, the old seagull Tractaal hopes for a mass meeting of gulls and Mr Tip doesn't understand why the fattest pigs always keep disappearing. The voices of the animals are spoken by e.g. Ton Lensink and Truus te Selle.
