In a Lisbon pub, three friends talk about hope, loss and grief. The viewer is secretly the fourth person at their table.
Three best friends, just as many cameras, a bottle of home-distilled rum. The setting: a small table in their local pub in Lisbon, with life being the topic of conversation. They laugh, drink, smoke. What starts with everyday issues slowly but surely takes on a more serious tone when the conversation is more about family, friends, children and death. The cameras register not only the talkers, but also the listeners, thus capturing the conversation of gazes, in this debut.
