Headrush is slang for the flash one feels after using drugs. In this black crime comedy, an Irish-Dutch-British co-production, the life of loser Charlie is like a headrush. Socially speaking, he gets onto a slippery slope. First, he is dumped by his girlfriend, then Social Services stops his allowance to boot. Along with his buddy T-Bag, he decides to solve their financial problems by collaborating on drug smuggling between Dublin and Amsterdam, with all the hilarious consequences that entails.
