Hannah is the odd one out in the family. In as far as you can be the odd one out in a Brabant family full of eccentrics. On the eve of their parents' ruby wedding, the seven children gather, some with lovers or spouses. Hannah's brand new lover comes along and even rescues the plans for the celebration by arranging a rickety party boat. On the happy day, befitting a good family celebration, things come to a head when here and there people start telling each other a few home truths. Maria Kraakman plays the recalcitrant, fag-smoking Hannah and Antonie Kamerling her dedicated admirer in this light-hearted, romantic comedy. Featuring an almost unrecognisable Barry Atsma as the credible mentally deficient brother and Olga Zuiderhoek and Kees Hulst as the laconic parents.
