Series of four short films - Oracle Night, Miso Soup, End of the World and The Outsider - based on novels by Paul Auster, Ryu Murakami, Haruki Murakami and Albert Camus, respectively. The run-up to a key moment in the plot is visualised without context. The series is a quest for the weight of these moments.
