Television drama about a physically handicapped young man who seeks contact with his father. After his mother dies Steven (25) finds out that his father is still alive. The reunion is very cold. Dermatologist Philip does offer his crippled son a job in the administrative department of the hospital, but then tries to keep him at arm's length in any way possible. Steven wants to get closer to his father, but keeps coming up against a brick wall. He slowly starts to think that his father has a dark secret.
