Bus shelters in the Zeeland landscape, captured from a stationary perspective, are the visual décor of fragmentary sounds of passengers who have just boarded a leaving bus.
From a stationary perspective, various bus shelters in the Zeeland landscape are captured. The shelters are deserted, but snippets of conversations still linger. The interaction between the fragmentary statements about departure, love and memory and the still images enhances the notion of passers-by, of passengers who have just boarded a leaving bus. The film is based on the poem Stoomgemaal Oosterschelde by Johanna Kruit.
