The starting verses of Theo Raats' poem Domburg read: 'Now we stand silently side by side, like high sand dunes shoulder to shoulder, and see again for the first time in years, Domburg in the dip.' Cello music, old black-and-white photographs and present-day footage visualise the verses about a fantasy of bidding farewell to a memory. Rundown buildings, demolition of beach cabins and hail symbolise the separation.
