Music video in which Froukje and her band members lethargically hang on couches among the remains of a party. It is the typical emptiness one feels after all the guests have left.
For Froukje’s music video Een Teken, the directors were inspired by the word ‘Awumbuk’ from New Guinea. It describes the empty feeling you have after all guests have left the party. Froukje and her band members are in a lethargic state amidst the chaos in a place where perhaps previously a party was celebrated. Surrounded by half-packed or -unpacked boxes, a forgotten video game and spaghetti spilt on the carpet, the artist and her band muse on unrequited love.
