The young couple Wander and Hannah keenly start their tour of the US. But then something goes wrong. Wander is the only one coming back home alive and he is not welcome at Hannah’s funeral.
What begins as a fairy-tale about love and adventure soon turns into a story about grief and isolation. One cold spring morning, Wander returns to his village. Alone, because his girlfriend Hannah has not survived their tour of the United States. Instead of being embraced by the people around him, nobody wants to support Wander. He is not even welcome at Hannah’s funeral. What happened exactly during their trip?
