The provincial criminal Jos is close to despair. His wife distrusts him, his daughter is respectless, his friends laugh at him, and this isn’t all. Who or what is punishing me, he wonders. Featuring Fedja van Huêt.
For this ebullient crime comedy, director Michiel ten Horn (Aanmodderfakker) was inspired by the fairy-tales and stories from his native Limburg region. Petty criminal Jos (Fedja van Huêt) is from a family of born losers. They seem cursed and, as with the men from previous generations, all Jos’ plans to achieve success keep coming to nothing. But then a lucrative drug deal offers him the chance to regain the respect of his environment in one fell swoop. But for this Jos will first have to break the family curse.
