Façade

Director: Setrak Avakian
Magic realistic feature about people who try to keep their head above water in a confusing world. Façade comprises several linked story-lines in which reality and illusion are juxtaposed. The binding factor in these story-lines is Jennifer, a 14-year-old girl who slowly but surely becomes aware of her clairvoyance and puts several people on the track of `pure truth'. A large number of people pass by. A young man has a Platonic relationship in his imagination, an innocent girl has an unconscious encounter in a discothèque, two strange men go in search of the meaning of life, a depressive woman dives into her past and two clairvoyant sisters met their fellow.
