A lighthouse-keeper and his little daughter live on a rocky island, cut off from the outside world, but especially from each other. The lonely girl's sole playmates are the waves of the sea. Objects that wash ashore bring some diversion, but also evoke memories, as traumatic as inevitable. With little means, this poetic cartoon full of melancholy recounts a serious tragedy of fate.
