A service by tennis player Philippe Niewerth, forty times slowed down and filmed from different camera angles, shows how his muscles cooperate to hit the ball as fast as possible.
The High Speed camera films thousand frames per second, forty times faster than normal. Played at standard speed, we see the movements slowed down forty times. As her first subject of study, director Annette Apon filmed a service by tennis player Philippe Niewerth. This typically lasts for about six seconds; slowed down and repeated, from different camera angles, it turns into a seven-minute film.
