In short (telephone) conversations with stutterers, a poetical and musical impression of this way of speaking is provided. When they sing they don't stammer.
In short (telephone) conversations with stutterers, director Janica Draisma typifies their speech impediment. When Draisma deliberately repeats certain questions, the stammering seems to worsen, but when she asks them to sing their answers, they do so flawlessly. Apart from an insight into the speech defect, the film also provides a poetical and musical impression of this way of speaking. `It's what you've got, not what you are.'
