Silent commercial from 1931 promotes the radio sets of the H.C. van Leeuwen firm. The film shows how a manservant hands a letter from the houseowner to his master and mistress. They are forbidden to put an aerial on the roof of their tenement, so it seems the much-desired radio is off. Then, the master of the house notices a full-page advertisement in the newspaper. The H.C. van Leeuwen firm has an aerial-less radio for sale. It is installed and demonstrated the same night. Accompanied live by the HKU Orchestra.
