Dramatised and documentary images of the ordinary, and not so ordinary life on the slopes of the menacing volcano Etna on Sicily.
Long shots of daily events show that the Sicilian life of street vendors and orange pickers on the slopes of the Etna just continues, despite the menacing rumble and spark eruptions of the volcano. Some images are documentary, others dramatised, so not everything in this short film is easily interpretable. Accordingly, after a small eruption, workers make a remarkable discovery in the still steaming lava.
