Based on the classical story of Echo and Narcissus, we follow the re-integration of people detained under hospital orders and their relationship with employees of the forensic psychiatric clinic. Why does one patient succeed in his return to society and the other keeps falling back in old mistakes? And what are the deeper lying motives of the counsellors and practitioners? This documentary reveals that the boundary between good and bad may be a lot vaguer than we would like to believe.
