This charcoal animation takes the viewer along on a journey full of visual imagination and profound emotions. Inspired by his personal experiences as a Syrian refugee, Shaheen is familiar with the struggle of someone who is forced to leave his country without knowing what the future will bring. Without a storyboard, he invites the viewer to this rich, artistic expression, in a search for a glimmer of hope amidst great insecurity.
