Feature film in which documentary filmmaker Vuist reaches a deadlock while making a film about the crisis in the modern welfare state and is also left by his wife. To end this impasse, he wants to sell his soul to the devil. The film is larded with 'real' interviews from Vuist's documentary, in which a.o. a psychologist expresses his opinion about the welfare state.
