Documentary about a turning point in the lives of a single mother and her daughter. They have always been together, but this changes now that daughter Mical is about to move abroad.
Mical and her mother Stephanie were filmed for a month by Emma van den Berg, before Mical was going to start a new life in San Francisco. Mical, a close friend of the filmmaker, still lives at home. Stephanie largely raised her by herself. Even though the two women are strong, individual characters, they have always lived close to each other for the past 25 years. They are deeply attached to each other. This is about to change now that Mical has booked her one-way ticket.
