Experimental film. Repeatedly tearing a sheet of paper into four pieces and recordings of this prove that empty space can be torn too.
Hands meticulously tear a sheet of paper up in four and rearrange the pieces underneath a camera. The tears are clearly visible. Next, a photo of this composition is printed and again divided into pieces. This makes the impossible possible: tearing the empty space that each tear is made up of. The process is repeated endlessly while the division gradually grows ever fainter, into an inextricable jumble of tears.
