Candid documentary portrait of Annemarie Prins, a woman who at seventy-nine is still working unflinchingly and with unbridled energy as an autonomous director, writer and actress.
In her long career, writer, director and actress Annemarie Prins (1932) made some risky choicesz. She picked themes that were ‘drawn from her personal life' and that testified to her social commitment. Since four years, she has been working in Cambodia with local actors, making plays intended to make it easier to come to terms with the Pol Pot regime. Portrait of a passionate searcher, containing both documentary and dramatized excerpts from Prins’ own performances and writings.
