After a poem by Herman Gorter. Bright lights of lamps and windows flash in empty hallways. The camera glides along the shining floor, to a slow electronic beat. In pale blue-green, the image speeds up and slows down, turning around the despondent face of a lonely man. A gleaming doll's face, the camera dives into his brainpan. His voice-over sounds increasingly fierce. 'I love you.'
