An artist struggling with a lack of inspiration is tormented by surrealist manifestations from his subconscious. As a result, he – like the viewers of this VR – turns into an artistic shapeshifter.
What is an artist without faith in his art? A shapeshifter, as shown by this disorienting virtual reality experience in which an anonymous artist tries to avert an existential crisis, after high performance pressure drove him mad. In a state of despair, he wanders through worlds his mind produced. It is a continuous balance act between significance and insignificance, rationality and irrationality, conscious and subconscious. But is everything indeed pointless in the bigger picture? That is, the picture he tries to create. A psychedelic fever dream in a refined black-and-white world.
