What begins as a house party full of music, conversation and tension slowly shifts as more and more is felt beneath the surface: desires, grief and unexpressed emotions. In this graduation film – a psychological drama with elements of magical realism and horror – reality begins to slip away. Voices no one speaks aloud, shadows that cling to them, and figures that seem to embody their fears. As the inner struggles of a group of friends become tangible, one of them sinks ever deeper into his pain. Will the others realise in time how deep his silence truly runs?

This film is part of the NFF Studentencompetitie and nominated for the Topkapi Filmprijs 2025. The winner will be announced on Monday, September 29th, during the Talent Awards Ceremony at the Stadsschouwburg Utrecht.
