Short documentary about a group of Roma children in which reality and metaphor, and footage and animations go hand in hand.
David, Sorin, Alex and Alexandra live in the Zwaluwenstraat. It is the dead of winter and David has found a lifeless little sheep on the dyke. A mix of drawings, photos, little paintings and footage poetically shape the youthful protagonist’s inner world. In this world, stillborn lambs come to life, small houses become big and winter turns into spring.
