Short film about a factory worker and his daughter Anna. The father brings some colour into their poverty-stricken life by telling fairy-tales in which a princess plays the leading role. When one day the travelling prostitute Eef calls at the factory again, the father yearns for her. Anna loses all faith in her father's fairy-tale world. That means the end of her childhood. Based on Arthur Japin's collection Magonische verhalen. Featuring Jack Wouterse as the caring and imaginative father, the man who can make clouds.
