After serving a lengthy prison sentence, an Iranian father travels to the Netherlands to meet his son for the first time. In this short family film, Arman struggles to build his role as a father without a shared language.
Arman (40), who spent years in prison in Iran, travels to the Netherlands to finally meet his child (6) for the first time. While his wife heads off to work, father and child are left together in a park. They face each other as strangers, without a shared language. Yet slowly, the silence between them begins to give way to gestures, play, and tentative steps towards a fragile father-son bond.
