Peter van Rodijnen follows the footsteps of explorer Jacques Cousteau to capture the unknown underwater world of the largest nature reserve in our country: the North Sea.
When diver and cameraman Peter van Rodijnen begins his underwater journey, searching for previously unknown images of the North Sea's underwater world, he quickly faces challenges. Powerful currents, poor visibility in murky waters, and violent storms, but remaining determined to unravel the sea's secrets. This film portrays the North Sea as a broad, interconnected system dependent on all its inhabitants: from the tiniest plankton to the largest shark.
