Hidden in the Voorstraat in Utrecht, Floor’s launderette is located, an operation that is easily passed by unnoticed. But in this contemplative documentary a whole world opens up after passing the threshold. It is a place where time has stood still and where people, machines and the space seem to blend together. Is Floor here a presence elegantly orchestrating the chaos around her? Or is she caught in the relentless programme of everyday life?
