A short tragicomedy about a city dweller who retreats to the forest to escape society’s expectations. Fear creeps in when he begins to suspect he’s not alone.
The young adult Daantje retreats to a remote forest in search of the healing power of nature. As an inexperienced city dweller, he soon discovers that the lonely life outdoors offers less freedom than he expected. His attempt to escape society takes a terrifying turn when he begins to suspect he’s not alone. As Daantje feels slighter and slighter in the vast forest, his longing for a way out grows. But where will it ultimately lead him?
