Graduation film is partly dramatised documentary in which fifty-two-year-old communist Theo van Hoesel - a fictitious character - goes to Cuba to meet Fidel Castro. The aim of his journey is to add the Cuban leader's sweat to his collection of body fluids. Presented with two Golden Calves in 1997, one for Best Short Documentary and one for Best Actor (Jaap van Donselaar).
