When Mara, one year after her mother’s decease, returns to her parental home, many things are left unsaid. When her father suggests she can sleep in her mother’s deathbed, she goes berserk.
A sultry summer’s day. The 26-year-old Mara arrives at her parental home, where nothing seems to remind her anymore of her mother, who passed away the previous year. Mara is still struggling with her loss, but her father has not wasted any time and has put all of her mother’s stuff in the shed. It is his desperate attempt to restore the broken contact with his daughter. Will the two hurt souls finally find reconciliation in this subdued black-and-white drama full of pent-up tension? Third-year HKU film.
