De Staat frontman Torre Florim personally provided this self-proclaimed 'anthem for those who are stuck in the present and running backwards into the future’ with a noir-like animated music video. In this nocturnal trip, visualised using artificial intelligence, an animated Florim runs through neon-lit alleys, clubs and parking lots, to eventually find redemption in the depth of the ocean. The jerky AI visualisations lend the clip a nightmarish feeling, reminiscent of Japanese anime and graphic novels.
